Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has revealed that she stayed away from films for the past eight years because her top priority was raising her children and spending time with her family.
She is now making her comeback with director Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film “Batwara 1947.”
Speaking to the media, Preity admitted that she felt nervous on her first day back on set, especially after being given one of the film’s most challenging scenes.
She credited co-star Sunny Deol for encouraging her and helping her regain confidence during filming.
Preity said she never regretted stepping away from Bollywood because she was happy focusing on her family life.
